How to play a Tibetan singing bowl:

1. Start by holding your bowl in the palm of your left hand (right if you are left-handed) The very bottom of the bowl should be the only part of the bowl touching your hand so the body of the bowl is allowed to vibrate freely.

With a wooden striker slowly start rubbing the outside rim in a clockwise circular motion, keeping an even and constant pressure on the edge of the bowl.
Sometimes it is helpful to gently strike the bowl before you start the rubbing motion.

2. You can play the singing bowl like gong by simply striking gently the rim of the bowl with suede mallet provided.
